FA-18 and MiG-29 Modeling Contest

It was a busy day for me. I was in Mid Valley Megamall in the morning taking pictures of entries of the Gundam Seed Destiny modeling competition. By afternoon, I found myself in City Square and this time to take pictures of entries of another modeling contest. This time around the subject is model plane, the FA-18 Hornet and the MiG-29 Fulcrum to be exact.

The contest was held on the 10th of June 2006 at City Square and was organized by the Selangor and Federal Territory Plastic Modeling Society (SFTPMS).

Some of the entries were really amazing and the detailing was just breathtaking. I always thought that building model airplane was easy but not anymore. It really requires a lot of skill, patient, and attention to details. Kudos to all the participants and congratulation to all the winners.

These are pictures of some of the entries. Click on a picture to view larger version.

All pictures were taken with the Fujifilm FinePix S9500.
