KLCC

KLCC stands for Kuala Lumpur City Centre. It is in the heart of Kuala Lumpur and houses a number of interesting buildings. One of these building is the Petronas Twin Towers, once the tallest towers in the world. And in the middle of the two towers is a shopping mall called Suria KLCC. For more information about KLCC, click here.

All pictures are taken with Fujifilm Finepix S9500.

KLCC Park

KLCC Park is a public park right next to KLCC (Kuala Lumpur City Centre). KLCC is also where the Petronas Twin Towers are located.

Went to the park one fine morning and took some pictures. It was a beautiful day with the sun shinning bright. Just the sort of day for taking pictures. It was quite a fruitful day and I find the 1 GB CF card in my camera quickly running out of space.

All pictures are taken using the Fujifilm Finepix S9500. Click on any picture to view a larger version.

Penang Botanic Garden

This is the second set of picture I took during my short trip to Penang on 29 April 2006. These pictures are taken at the Penang Botanic Garden. It is a huge place and with lots of plants and flowers, and monkeys, too.

Too bad I couldn’t taken any picture of the orchids as they are all locked up and only opens to public during certain hours of the day.

Penang Kek Lok Si

I went to Penang, a small island state in Malaysia on 29 April 2006 with my brother. It has been quite a while since the last time I was there… say about 2 or 3 light years ago. Anyway, it was just a short stopover. We were there for just a couple of hours. We managed to visit THE tourist attraction, the Kek Lok Si, a Buddhist temple and the Botanic Garden.

Below are some pictures taken at Kek Lok Si using my precious the Fujifilm S9500. I will post the pictures taken at the Botanic Garden in another post. I must admit the quality of the pictures taken are not very good and most are over exposed. This is probably because I am still not familiar with the camera. Hopefully I’ll master it sometime in the near (hopefully very near) future. For now, hope you’ll enjoy them.

Fujifilm S9500 Gallery 20060408

These are pictures taken with the Fujifilm S9500. The quality is not too good as I was not familiar with the camera yet. Hopefully I’ll be able to take better pictures with the camera in the future…. a near one preferably.
