Hasegawa 1/48 F16C

This is my second attempt at building a plan and the victim this time around is a Hasegawa 1/48 scale F16C Fighting Falcon ‘Alabama Ang Special’. I bought this kit from a huge model shop call Universal Models Limited (UML) in Hong Kong during one of my business trip there back in June 2008.

This took me couple of months to build due to my hectic workload but was able to finish it sometime in October 2008. Instead of having it in the normal landing pose, I wanted to build this in a more action oriented pose aka flying pose. As such, I did not bother about the landing gears and covered all the landing hatches.

I also drilled a small hole under the main fuselage so that I can poke a small iron rod into it and pose the F16 in flying mode. But also due to this, there is no more space to attach the spare fuel tank under the fuselage. As such, that spare tank was omitted.

Here are the pictures of the Hasegawa 1/48 F16C Fighting Falcon. All pictures were taken with my Canon EOS 400D with Sigma 18-200mm OS lens.
